Complete 72 hours of pre-licensing education
You must complete a total of two courses in Missouri. The first course is the 48-hour Salesperson Pre-Examination Course and the second is the 24-hour Real Estate Practice Course. Complete the course final exam
After you finish the course, you will need to take an online proctored exam and pass with a minimum score of 75%.

Submit the background check requirement
You must submit your fingerprints to the Missouri State Police or FBI for a criminal background check. Click here for more information.

Pass the Missouri Real Estate Exam
PSI Administers the in-person state licensing exam. There are 120 questions with two portions. 80 national questions and 40 state-specific questions will be on the exam. You will need a 70% on the National portion and 75% on the state portion to pass. You will have 6 months after completion of the 48 hour Pre-Examination course to pass the PSI exam, complete the 24 hour Real Estate Practice course, and apply for your license.

Submit your license application
To apply for your Missouri real estate license, contact the Missouri Real Estate Commission and complete your application. They will list the documents you will need to provide. You will obtain errors and omissions insurance at this point in the process.
