24/7 instructor support
Trusted source for brokers & managing brokers in Virginia
Virginia Real Estate Board Approval # 0214029736
All new Virginia real estate agents must complete 30 hours of post-licensing education within one year from the last day of the month in which their license was issued.
If you fail to complete this course in time, your license will automatically be placed in inactive status.
Our courses are entirely online, so you can get your real estate license without leaving home. The self-paced course also allows you to choose when to study.
Our high pass rates make us the most trusted provider for real estate agents in Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Arlington, Norfolk, Richmond, Newport News, and Alexandria.
Studying online does not mean you’re alone, it just means flexibility. You will have access to instructor support seven days a week.
We know it can be scary to take an online course and it's easy to feel like you are alone in the process. Our student support is just different, you won't find another school out there that supports you like we do.
Day or night, seven days a week, every time you call, you'll be greeted by a real person - not a machine. The person you talk to will be an expert and able to help you right away. The other schools only answer when it is convenient for them and you'll have to wait days to get a response from an instructor, if at all.
We're a family-owned business, genuinely invested in seeing you achieve your goals. Come see why we are the trusted source for successful agents and brokers.
The Virginia Real Estate Board (VREB) requires all active new salespersons to complete a mandatory 30-hour Post-License Education (PL) curriculum. This education must be completed within one year from the last day of the month your license was issued to remain on active status.
No, Post-License Education (PL) is a separate, one-time requirement for new agents and is different from the Continuing Education (CE) you will need to complete in subsequent renewal cycles. The 30 hours of PL satisfies the education requirement for your first two-year license term, so you do not need to take any additional CE.
The VREB mandates nine specific topics to be covered as part of your 30 hours. Our comprehensive online package includes all of the required topics:
If you fail to complete your 30-hour PL requirement within the one-year deadline, your license will be automatically placed on inactive status. You cannot legally practice real estate with an inactive license. To reactivate your license, you must complete the 30-hour PL requirement and submit an "Activate/Transfer" application with the required fee.
Yes. Our Virginia Real Estate Post-License course is 100% online and self-paced. This flexibility allows you to fulfill the mandatory education hours on your own schedule, from any location with an internet connection.
After you successfully complete your courses, we electronically report your completion to the VREB. This process is handled for you, ensuring your records are accurately updated with the state. While we handle the reporting, we always recommend keeping a copy of your course completion certificates for your personal records.
No. PL courses are specifically for your first year of licensure. Continuing Education (CE) hours are required for all subsequent license renewals and have a different curriculum. The VREB does not accept PL hours to fulfill your CE requirement.
