24/7 Access & Support 7 Days a Week

Studying online does not mean you’re alone, it just means flexibility. You will have access to instructor support seven days a week.

Why Choose Perry Real Estate School

We know it can be scary to take an online course and it's easy to feel like you are alone in the process. Our student support is just different, you won't find another school out there that supports you like we do.

Day or night, seven days a week, every time you call, you'll be greeted by a real person - not a machine. The person you talk to will be an expert and able to help you right away. The other schools only answer when it is convenient for them and you'll have to wait days to get a response from an instructor, if at all.

We're a family-owned business, genuinely invested in seeing you achieve your goals. Come see why we are the trusted source for successful agents and brokers.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

In Ohio, all new real estate salespersons must complete a mandatory 20-hour post-licensing course within their first year of licensure. This education is designed to provide you with the practical skills and knowledge needed to succeed in your new career, building on the foundation you received during your pre-licensing studies.

You must complete the 20-hour post-licensing course within twelve months of the date your salesperson license was issued. This is a strict deadline, and it is your responsibility to complete the course on time to avoid penalties.

If you fail to complete the 20 hours of post-licensing education by your one-year deadline, your license may be placed on inactive status or suspended. You will not be able to legally practice real estate until you complete the required education and reactivate your license with the Ohio Division of Real Estate & Professional Licensing (ODRE).

The Ohio Division of Real Estate & Professional Licensing mandates a specific curriculum for salesperson post-licensing. Our course is designed to meet these requirements and covers essential topics for new agents, including:

  • Broker and Advertising Regulations
  • Agency Formation and Disclosure
  • Civil Rights and Fair Housing Laws
  • Duties When Representing a Buyer or Seller
  • Fiduciary Duties
  • Foreclosures and Short Sales
  • Property Management

Yes. Perry Real Estate College offers the 20-hour Ohio real estate salesperson post-license course 100% online and self-paced. This format provides the flexibility you need to study around your business and personal schedule, so you can meet your deadline with convenience.

After you successfully complete the course, you are responsible for submitting your certificate of completion directly to the Ohio Division of Real Estate & Professional Licensing. It is recommended that you keep a copy of your certificate for your own records.

No. The 20-hour post-licensing course is a one-time requirement for newly licensed salespersons. It is separate from the 30 hours of continuing education that all active Ohio salespersons must complete every three years for subsequent renewals. Your 20-hour post-licensing education does not count toward your future CE requirements.
