All new Kentucky real estate agents must complete 48 hours of post-licensing education within two years of obtaining and activating their license
No more than nine hours of post-license education can be taken within a twenty-four-hour period
Our courses are entirely online, so you can get your real estate license without leaving home. The self-paced course also allows you to choose when to study.
Our high pass rates make us the most trusted provider for real estate agents in Northern Kentucky, Lexington, Louisville, Bowling Green, Owensboro, Frankfort, Elizabethtown, and Paducah.
Studying online does not mean you’re alone, it just means flexibility. You will have access to instructor support seven days a week.
We know it can be scary to take an online course and it's easy to feel like you are alone in the process. Our student support is just different, you won't find another school out there that supports you like we do.
Day or night, seven days a week, every time you call, you'll be greeted by a real person - not a machine. The person you talk to will be an expert and able to help you right away. The other schools only answer when it is convenient for them and you'll have to wait days to get a response from an instructor, if at all.
We're a family-owned business, genuinely invested in seeing you achieve your goals. Come see why we are the trusted source for successful agents and brokers.

The Kentucky Real Estate Commission (KREC) requires all new sales associate licensees to complete 48 hours of post-license education (PLE) within two years of obtaining and activating their license. This education is mandatory to keep your license in good standing.
No. PLE is a separate, one-time requirement for new licensees and is different from the annual 6 hours of Continuing Education (CE) that all active agents must complete after their first two years. Your 48 hours of PLE do not count toward your annual CE requirements.
If you fail to complete your 48 hours of PLE by the two-year deadline, your license will be automatically canceled. To reinstate your license, you must first complete all of your PLE requirements and then pay all applicable licensing and reinstatement fees.
The KREC mandates that the 48-hour curriculum includes 32 hours of mandatory topics and 16 hours of electives. At Perry Real Estate College, our courses are designed to cover all of the required subjects, including:
Mandatory Hours (32 Hours):
Elective Hours (16 Hours):
