How To Get Your Florida Real Estate License
Enroll in our Florida Pre-License Course & satisfy all of the educational requirements to get a real estate license in Florida. You must be 18 years or older and have a high school diploma or GED equivalent and complete the steps below:

Complete 63 hours of pre-licensing education

Complete the course final exam
After you finish the course, you will need to take an online exam and pass with a minimum score of 70%.

Submit the background check requirement
You must submit your fingerprints to the Department of Business & Professional Regulation for a criminal background check.

Submit your license application
To apply for your Florida real estate license, contact the Florida Real Estate Commission. They will list the documents you need to provide.

Pass the Florida Real Estate Exam
Pearson Vue administers the in-person state licensing exam. There are 100 questions based on the content outline. You will have 3 and a half hours to complete the exam.
