Enroll in our Illinois Managing Broker Licensing Course today! You must be 18 years or older and have a high school diploma or GED equivalent and have been licensed as a broker for 2 years.
Perry Real Estate College offers this course completely online and self-paced.
After you finish the course, you will need to take an online exam and pass with a minimum score of 75%.
PSI administers the in-person state licensing exam. There are 140 questions based on the content outline. You will have 4 hours to complete the exam.
After you finish the examination, you will be required to answer a background questionnaire about criminal convictions or debts for taxes or child support. You will then be given instructions on applying to the Illinois Department of Financial & Professional Regulation (IDFPR) and the Division of Real Estate online.
Complete the licensing process by submitting your licensing exam results to IDFPR along with the license fee of $150.00.
We know it can be scary to take an online course and it's easy to feel like you are alone in the process. Our student support is just different, you won't find another school out there that supports you like we do.
Day or night, seven days a week, every time you call, you'll be greeted by a real person - not a machine. The person you talk to will be an expert and able to help you right away. The other schools only answer when it is convenient for them and you'll have to wait days to get a response from an instructor, if at all.
We're a family-owned business, genuinely invested in seeing you achieve your goals. Come see why we are the trusted source for successful agents and brokers.
To become a managing broker in Illinois, you must hold an active broker license for at least two years within the past three, complete a 45-hour Illinois-approved managing broker pre-license course, and pass the state licensing exam administered by PSI.
