Why Choose Perry Real Estate College

We know it can be scary to take an online course and it's easy to feel like you are alone in the process. Our student support is just different, you won't find another school out there that supports you like we do.

Day or night, seven days a week, every time you call, you'll be greeted by a real person - not a machine. The person you talk to will be an expert and able to help you right away. The other schools only answer when it is convenient for them and you'll have to wait days to get a response from an instructor, if at all.

We're a family-owned business, genuinely invested in seeing you achieve your goals. Come see why we are the trusted source for successful agents and brokers.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

In Alabama, all new real estate salespersons must complete a mandatory 30-hour post-licensing course. This course is a critical step to upgrade your initial temporary license to an original (permanent) license.

The deadline depends on your license status. If your temporary license is active, you must complete the course within the first six months of licensure. If your temporary license is inactive, you have up to one year to complete the course.

If you don't complete the 30-hour course within the required timeframe, your temporary license will become void. This means you must start the licensing process from the beginning, including retaking the pre-license course and passing the state exam.

The Alabama Real Estate Commission (AREC) has a specific curriculum designed to prepare you for the real world. Our course covers key topics such as:

  • Working with buyers and sellers
  • Preparing and negotiating contracts
  • Avoiding liabilities and managing risk
  • Business planning and prospecting
  • Fair housing and ethics
