Why Choose Perry Real Estate College

We know it can be scary to take an online course and it's easy to feel like you are alone in the process. Our student support is just different, you won't find another school out there that supports you like we do.

Day or night, seven days a week, every time you call, you'll be greeted by a real person - not a machine. The person you talk to will be an expert and able to help you right away. The other schools only answer when it is convenient for them and you'll have to wait days to get a response from an instructor, if at all.

We're a family-owned business, genuinely invested in seeing you achieve your goals. Come see why we are the trusted source for successful agents and brokers.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

In Indiana, all newly licensed real estate brokers must complete a 30-hour post-licensing course within two years of their initial license issuance. This is a mandatory, one-time requirement that must be fulfilled before your first license renewal.

If you fail to complete your post-licensing education within the two-year deadline, your license may be subject to fines ranging from $250 to $1,000, and it could be placed on an inactive status. You will be unable to legally practice real estate until you fulfill the education requirement and your license is reactivated.

The Indiana Real Estate Commission (IREC) has a specific curriculum for post-licensing education. The course is designed to provide you with practical, real-world knowledge on a variety of topics, including:

  • Contracts and Agency Relationships
  • Business Planning, Sales, and Marketing
  • Negotiation and Counseling
  • Real Estate Finance and Investment
  • Fair Housing and Indiana-specific laws

Yes. Perry Real Estate College offers its Indiana post-licensing course 100% online and self-paced. This provides you with the flexibility to study on your own schedule and meet the two-year deadline from any location with an internet connection.

Once you successfully complete the course, your completion is electronically reported to the Indiana Real Estate Commission (IREC). You will also receive a completion certificate for your records.

In Indiana's competitive market, continued education is key to success. Our 30-hour post-licensing course at Perry Real Estate College provides an in-depth understanding of crucial topics like advanced contracts, negotiation strategies, and business planning. This expertise helps you build a stronger reputation and provide a higher level of service to your clients.

In Indiana, there is no longer a "salesperson" license. All licensees are licensed as real estate brokers. However, the 30-hour post-licensing course is a mandatory step for all new licensees to move from a provisional status to a fully licensed broker, ensuring you have the knowledge required to conduct business ethically and effectively.
