INSTRUCTOR & DIRECTOR:
If you call Perry Real Estate School, Kent Gray is likely the person on the other side of that phone. He is well-versed in each state’s path to licensure and has operated a real estate school for over 10 years. He is responsible for the administration of PRES, student development, course certification, learning management system development, and any other task fuels a robust operation. Kent is a versatile team member: he is a certified real estate instructor in Kentucky, Tennessee, South Carolina, and many other states and holds a Bachelor of Finance from Northern Kentucky University.
REQUIREMENTS FOR LICENSURE:
Students must have 18+ years of age, be a US Citizen or Legal Alien, obtain a background check for the commission, not be convicted of a disqualifying offense, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and be sponsored by an Ohio Broker. In addition to these general requirements, students must also complete 100 hours of pre-license education and pass the licensing exam. No person shall be denied a license because of race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. The application process is gone over in greater detail throughout the course.
(4) PROGRAM LENGTH, CANCELLATION & SETTLEMENT POLICY:
This course is 100 clock hours, students have 6 months to complete all components of the program but may purchase an extension. This enrollment agreement may be canceled within five calendar days after the date of signing provided that the school is notified of the cancellation in writing. If such cancellation is made, the school will promptly refund in full all tuition and fees paid pursuant to the enrollment agreement and the refund shall be made no later then thirty days after cancellation. This provision shall not apply if the student has already started academic classes.
PROGRAM OVERVIEW:
Perry Real Estate School's Real Estate Pre-license course consists of 4 parts: Real Estate Principles & Practices, Ohio Real Estate Law, Real Estate Finance, and Real Estate Appraisal. There is a comprehensive final exam at the end of the course. Each course is broke down into modules. Each module covers a broad topic in real estate and includes lectures, activities, quizzes, case studies, interactive exercises, and tests. Modules begin with a virtual classroom that is broken down into 1-4 units. Some Modules have required reading outlined at the beginning of each Module that must be completed before advancing to the next Module. Upon completing all units, a comprehensive Module Test will unlock that requires a 75% to pass. There is no limit on module test retakes. Within each Module, there are activities and case studies that have a minimum time requirement. Your responses are submitted directly within the Module, and you will get feedback immediately following each activity or case study. Students may progress to the next Module upon completing the prior Module.

Total projected cost of program (includes books and other fees) = $800-$1,000
Tuition and fee charges are subject to change at the schools discretion. Any tuition or fee increases will become effective for the school term following student notification of the increase.
COURSE OBJECTIVES:
At the end of the course, students will be able to: (1) Discuss all state real estate laws and principles; and (2) Apply their knowledge of real estate laws and practices to real-world use cases.
REQUIRED TEXTBOOK:
The program’s reading is selected from Principles of Real Estate Practice, 6th Edition; written by Stephen Mettling and David Cusic. Copies can be found on many online retailers including Amazon.
COURSE GRADES:
Students' scores (grades) are based on successfully completing each component of the Pre- License Course and passing the Final Exam with a score of 75% or better.
FINAL EXAM:
To receive an official transcript or certificate of completion, students must earn a 75% or higher on the Final Exam. Students may retake the Final Exam twice In the event a student does not pass the Final Exam on their third attempt, they must retake the entire course.
OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT:
Upon successful completion of the 4 parts and the Final Exam, Perry Real Estate School will send you a completion certificate for your records and will submit your information directly to PSI Exams.
STATE LICENSING EXAM:
The state licensing exam is conducted by a third party, not Perry Real Estate School. Students are eligible to sit for the exam once they have completed all course requirements. The course final exam is different and separate from the licensing exam and must be completed before taking the licensing exam.
(10) COMPLAINT OR GRIEVANCE PROCEDURE:
All student complaints should be first directed to the school personnel involved. If no resolution is forthcoming, a written complaint shall be submitted to the director of the school. Whether or not the problem or complaint has been resolved to his/her satisfaction by the school, the student may direct any problem or complaint to the Executive Director, State Board of Career Colleges and Schools, 30 East Broad Street, Suite 2481, Columbus, Ohio, 43215, Phone 614-466-2752;
toll free 877-275-4219.
(7) (8) REFUND POLICY
If the student is not accepted into the training program, all monies paid by the student shall be refunded. Refunds for books, supplies and consumable fees shall be made in accordance with Ohio Administrative Code section 3332-1-10.1.
There is one (1) academic term for this program that is 100 clock hours in length.
Refunds for tuition and refundable fees shall be made in accordance with following provisions as established by Ohio Administrative Code section 3332-1-10:
· A student who withdraws before the first class and after the 5-day cancellation period shall be obligated for the registration fee.
· A student who starts class and withdraws before the academic term is 15% completed will be obligated for 25% of the tuition and refundable fees plus the registration fee.
· A student who starts class and withdraws after theacademic term is 15% but before the academic term is 25% completed will be obligated for 50% of the tuition and refundable fees plus the registration fee.
· A student who starts class and withdraws after the academic term is 25% complete but before the academic term is 40% completed will be obligated for 75% of the tuition and refundable fees plus the registration fee.
· A student who starts class and withdraws after the academic term is 40% completed will not be entitled to a refund of the tuition and fees.
The school shall make the appropriate refund within thirty days of the date the school is able to determine that a student has withdrawn or has been terminated from a program. Refunds shall be based upon the last date of a student’s attendance or participation in an academic school activity.
(9) ACCEPTACE OF SCHOOL POLICIES:
By signing your name and date digitally in this module, you acknowledge that you have received a schoolcatalog and you are agreeing to the terms of this student enrollment agreement.

Program Approvals:
The Ohio Real Estate Salesperson Pre-license course is approved by the Association of License Law Officials (ARELLO).
Enrollment Period And Extension Process:
To ensure the highest level of engagement and success for our students, all course enrollments will remain active for a period of six (6) months from the date of registration.
If additional time is needed beyond the initial enrollment period, students may extend their access to the course materials for an additional:
- Three (3) months for $99, or
- Six (6) months for $149
These extensions are available after the initial 6-month expiration date and may be requested by the student at any time following expiration.

Attendance, Disciplinary Issues, & Grading Policies:
The course is an online program, there are no required days or attendance or makeup work. Students work through the material at their own pace and must achieve a 75% on module quizzes to move forward with the course. The school will not provide disciplinary actions to students for unsatisfactory work, the system grades as the course is completed. Students must also achieve a 75% on the cumulative course final exam. A certificate of completion is presented to the student after successfully completing all aspects of the course and final exam.
Credit Eligibility:
All credits earned from Perry Real Estate School are nontransferable and the school is unable to accept credits earned from other institutions.

Official Certificate:
Upon successful completion of all 4 portions of the course and the course Final Exam, Perry Real Estate School will send you a completion certificate for your records. Students will send their certificate into the commission when applying for their license, this comes after passing the state licensing exam.

The state licensing exam is conducted by PSI, not Perry Real Estate School. Students are eligible to sit for the exam once they have completed all program requirements.

All courses in the Ohio Real Estate Broker program are approved by the Association of License Law Officials (ARELLO).
Enrollment Period And Extension Process:
To ensure the highest level of engagement and success for our students, all course enrollments will remain active for a period of six (6) months from the date of registration.
If additional time is needed beyond the initial enrollment period, students may extend their access to the course materials for an additional:
- Three (3) months for $99, or
- Six (6) months for $149
These extensions are available after the initial 6-month expiration date and may be requested by the student at any time following expiration.
Requirements for a Real Estate Broker License:
Students must have 18+ years of age, be a US Citizen or Legal Alien, obtain a background check for the commission, not be convicted of a disqualifying offense, and have a high school diploma or equivalent. In addition to these general requirements, students must also complete 120 hours of pre-license education and pass the licensing exam. No person shall be denied a license because of race, color, religion, sex, or national origin.
Attendance, Disciplinary Issues, & Grading Policies:
The course is an online program, there are no required days or attendance or makeup work. Students work through the material at their own pace and must achieve a 75% on module quizzes to move forward with the course. The school will not provide disciplinary actions to students for unsatisfactory work, the system grades as the course is completed. Students must also achieve a 75% on the cumulative course final exams. A certificate of completion is presented to the student after successfully completing all aspects of the course and final exam.
Credit Eligibility:
All credits earned from Perry Real Estate School are nontransferable and the school is unable to accept credits earned from other institutions.
Program Overview:
Perry Real Estate School's Broker pre-license education is 120 clock hours and consists of 4 parts: Financial Management, Business Law, Business Economics, and Human Resources. There is a comprehensive final exam at the end of each course. Each portion is broke down into modules. Each module covers a broad topic in real estate and includes lectures, activities, quizzes, case studies, interactive exercises, and tests. Modules begin with a virtual classroom that is broken down into 1-4 units. Some Modules have required reading outlined at the beginning of each Module that must be completed before advancing to the next Module. Upon completing all units, a comprehensive Module Test will unlock that requires a 75% to pass. There is no limit on module test retakes. Within each Module, there are activities and case studies that have a minimum time requirement. Your responses are submitted directly within the Module, and you will get feedback immediately following each activity or case study. Students may progress to the next Module upon completing the prior Module.
Tuition & Fees Per Term:
Total projected cost of program (includes books and other fees) = $2,800-$3,000
Tuition and fee charges are subject to change at the schools discretion. Any tuition or fee increases will become effective for the school term following student notification of the increase.
Faculty & Administration:
Ken Perry (instructor & Owner): Ken is a leader in the real estate industry. He has been a managing broker for over 30 years, he’s received many awards throughout his illustrious career, and has been a certified real estate instructor for 15 years, in numerous states.
Kent Gray (Director): Kent has been involved in real estate education for 13 years. Under his guidance, Perry Real Estate School has become the leader in real estate education in the state of Kentucky and has expanded into 15+ states. Kent is also a certified real estate instructor in many states.
Complaint or Grievance Procedure:
All student complaints should be first directed to the school personnel involved. If no resolution is forthcoming, a written complaint shall be submitted to the director of the school. Whether or not the problem or complaint has been resolved to his/her satisfaction by the school, the student

Official Certificate:
Upon successful completion of each course and the course Final Exams, Perry Real Estate School will send you a completion certificate for your records. Students will send their certificates into the commission when applying for their license, this comes after passing the state licensing exam.
Ohio State Exam:
The state licensing exam is conducted by PSI, not Perry Real Estate School. Students are eligible to sit for the exam once they have completed all program requirements.
