Complete 60 hours of pre-licensing education

Pass the Maryland Real Estate Licensing Exam
PSI Administers the in-person state licensing exam. There are 110 questions, covering the national and state-specific content. You will need 75% or higher to pass this exam.

Choose a sponsoring brokerage
You must submit your fingerprints to the Maryland State Police or FBI for a criminal background check. Click here for more information.

Complete the application form and background check
This application must be filled out and submitted to the Maryland Real Estate Commission for approval.
