You must be 18 years or older and have a high school diploma or GED equivalent and
- Complete 90 hours of pre-licensing education.
- Complete the course final exams.
- Pass the Indiana Real Estate Exam.
- Choose a sponsoring brokerage.
- Complete your application.
- Submit the background check.

All new Indiana real estate agents must complete 30 hours of post-licensing education within two years of obtaining and activating their license.

- Register with the SOS and IPLA.
- Obtain a background check.
- Complete the 24-hour Indiana Managing Broker course.
- Submit your application.
