You must be 18 years or older and have a high school diploma or GED equivalent and

- Complete the course final exam.

- Submit the background check.
- Complete your license application.
- Pass the Florida Real Estate Exam.

All new Florida real estate agents must complete 45 hours of post-licensing education within the first renewal period (18-24 months) of obtaining and activating their license.Â
You must have your salespersons license for at least 24 months of the preceding five years.Â
- Register for the 72 hours of Pre-Licensing education.
- Take a proctored course final exam.Â
- Take the state licensing exam with Pearson Vue.Â
- You must obtain a criminal background check.
- File your application.
