You must be 18 years or older and have a high school diploma or GED equivalent and
- Register for 96 hours of Pre-Licensing Education.Â
- Complete the course final exam.
- Â Submit the background check.
- Pass the Kentucky Real Estate Exam.
- File your license application.

All new Kentucky real estate agents must complete 48 hours of post-licensing education within two years of obtaining and activating their license. Â No more than nine hours of post-license education can be taken within a twenty-four-hour period.

You must have your Sales Associate License in Kentucky for at least two years and be working a minimum of 20 hours a week andÂ
- Complete 336 hours of approved Kentucky Managing Broker courses.
- Complete the course final exam.
- Submit the background check.
- Pass the Kentucky Real Estate Broker Exam.

Yes! All agents must have an active Tennessee, Ohio, Florida, or West Virginia real estate license for at least one year before taking the course and take a reciprocity course.
