WONDERING HOW TO GET YOUR TENNESSEE REAL ESTATE LICENSE?

You must be 18 years or older and have a high school diploma or GED equivalent and
- Register for 90 hours of Pre-Licensing Education.
- Complete the course final exam.
- Submit the background check.
- Pass the Tennessee Real Estate Exam.
- File your license application.

All new Tennessee brokers must complete 120 hours of post-licensing education. Â It must be completed within three years of obtaining and activating your license.

If licensed after 1988, you must have an active sales license in Tennessee for 3 years. If you were licensed before 1988, or you have a baccalaureate degree with a major in real estate you will need only 2 years of active sales experience and
- Complete 30 hours of approved Tennessee Managing Broker courses.
- Complete the course final exam.
- Submit the background check.
- Complete the broker exam application.
- Pass the Tennessee Real Estate Broker Exam.
- Complete an online application with the Tennessee Real Estate Commission.
